Below are the names and contact information of NTUA associates that designed, developed and implemented NDBHMI project and at the time are the project support team:

Along with the above mentioned main project team there were many associates who worked for the completion of the project as well as subcontractors who were assigned through bidding the following subjects:

  • The company MAVICO S.A. signed on the data-entry of primary hygrological, hydrogeological and meteorological data.
  • The company ERATOSTHENIS LTD signed on the development of Geographical Information System, including the development of the Digital Geographical Database, the processing and presentation of geographical information and the training of users on the applications developed.
  • The company Quality & Reliability signed on the development of the Database for information from the Ministry of Development Archives of Projects and Studies.
  • The company EXPERTNET S.A. signed on the Project Management and the Technical Support (concerning administrative issues) for the time period from 10/07/97 to 23/06/99.
  • The National Observatory of Athens signed a subcontract for the pre-processing and selection of the data entered in the Database as well as the typing and digitization of their own archives.
  • There were also Divisions and Laboratories of N.T.U.A. that participated in different phases of the project such as:
    - The National Stations' Network: the Department of Infrastructure and Agriculture Development, coordinator Professor G. Tsakiris (Faculty of Rural and Surveying Engineering)
    - The Global Positioning System (GPS): the Laboratory of Higher Geodesy of Faculty of Rural and Surveying Engineering, responsible Professor H. Billiris.
    - Quality control of GIS digital coverage: the Laboratory of Cartography of Faculty of Rural and Surveying Engineering, responsible Ass.prof. M. Kavouras.
    - Significant was the contribution of Mr S. Papagrigoriou, as consultant, in the preparation of the "Evolution and Exploitation Study of NDBHMI"
